On the other hand, the crystallizing wheel is of "H" shape, and the cooling methods include controllable inner cooling, outer cooling, side cooling and partly water cooling, and stainless steel is adopted in all the methods. The adjusting valve is equipped respectively in order to automatically control the water flow while casting. The big cooling section and good cooling effect ensure the crystal of smelted copper close and equal while being cast. The five-wheel continuous casting machine has five wheels on the same plane, which is convenient for installation. Level casting can make smelted copper flow to the crystallizing wheel smoothly. There are two casting ladles, and the upper one controls the flow to be cast to the small lower one. Compared with the rolling mill of generation one and two, the speed ratio between the neighboring stands is more reasonable and the gradual promotion is adopted. The cast bar section is increased to 2250mm²from the former 1800mm², which is more good for casting flow control. The increased compression between the neighboring rolling mills and the gradual change of the various speed improve and perfect the compaction in the inner organization of the copper bars, and greatly improve the bars' ability to remove the potential cracks and bubbles.
