Product Description

LS pull-down forging presses with two rectangular columns are directly oil-hydraulically driven. They offer a high forging speed and better visibility of the forging area for operator.
 
They have a casting monoblock frame ensuring a high eccentric load resistance and structure rigidity. The casting frame is also designed to have a low working stress, thus a high level of forging accuracy. All hydraulic cylinders and hydraulic stations including pumps, motors, tanks, valves, pipes are arranged under the floor. The presses can be installed in the low plant building.
 
The frame with low gravity center ensures a very small displacement under eccentric loading, it is also free of vibration during high speed forging work. Together with our technology in controlling proportional servo cartridge valve and replenishing & relief valve station, and special pipeline design, the sustainable high performance forging work is easily available.
 
Pull-down forging presses are most suitable for the installing in the insufficient workshop height required by forging capacity of the presses.

Our History

The predecessor of the company - LS Factory was founded in 1953, we initially produced castings, forgings and petrochemical equipments in 1965, and started the design and development of two columns open-die forging presses in 1982. Since LS Group's foundation, we have become nationally recognized for our diverse range of specialty forging equipment and machinery.

1953 LS Factory was founded in Lanzhou City in Gansu Province by the Industry Department of China. It is the predecessor of LS Group

1982 LS Heavy Machinery was founded in Lanzhou City in Gansu Province by LS Group

1987 China's first 8MN two-column open-die forging press was manufactured by LS Heavy Machinery

1995 China's first 16MN two-column open-die forging press was manufactured by LS Heavy Machinery

2004 China's first 20MN two-column open-die forging press was manufactured by LS Heavy Machinery

2008 China's first 45MN two-column open-die forging press was manufactured by LS Heavy Machinery
